Base Building

Your mission is to construct a two-way Rift back to Earth. This highly advanced invention requires an enormous amount of energy, meaning a handful of solar collectors and a few tons of steel won't be enough. Build a complex network of mines, refineries, power plants, and research facilities to gather the resources needed and complete your objective.

Defense

Your presence on this planet will not go unnoticed. As your industry expands and begins to disrupt the natural order, the planet will regard you as a threat. Fortify your base by constructing walls, barriers, and defensive towers to withstand increasingly powerful attacks. Thousands of hostile creatures will stop at nothing to wipe out your colony.

Exploration

Galatea 37 is an uncharted world located within the Sycorax Belt of the Milky Way. Long-range surveys have confirmed that it is habitable and ideal for colonization. The planet is rich in rare minerals and valuable resources scattered across diverse environments. Discover unique biomes filled with unfamiliar flora and fauna while surviving extreme weather conditions. Establish remote outposts in resource-rich regions and transport vital materials back to your main base using Rift technology.

Campaign Mode

Play as Captain Ashley S. Nowak, the Riftbreaker—an elite scientist and commando equipped with a powerful Mecha-Suit. Travel through a one-way portal to Galatea 37, a distant planet on the edge of the Milky Way, and establish a base capable of opening a route back to Earth while paving the way for future colonization.

Ashley's Mecha-Suit, affectionately named "Mr. Riggs," is built to withstand the harshest environments and comes fully equipped for base construction, resource extraction, scientific research, and, of course, combat. It can also travel through Rifts that bridge vast distances across space.

Embark on an epic adventure across the diverse biomes of Galatea 37. Establish multiple permanent outposts to power your growing economy, research alien lifeforms and mysterious resources, and defend yourself against relentless hordes of alien creatures determined to stop your interference with the planet's natural order.

The campaign offers many hours of gameplay in a richly detailed, procedurally generated world with exceptional freedom. Decide your own priorities, choose which technologies to develop, and shape your own strategy—after all, you are the only human on the planet.

Survival Mode

Your objective is simple: survive for a set amount of time while fending off increasingly dangerous waves of enemies. Every mission is procedurally generated, providing nearly endless replayability.

Handcrafted Solo and Co-op Experiences

The Riftbreaker can be played solo or with up to four players in Online Co-op. Every game mode and mission has been carefully balanced to provide an enjoyable experience whether you're playing alone or with friends.

The game features a built-in server browser and supports dedicated servers. You can play online, over a local LAN connection, or entirely offline.

Sandbox Mode

If intense survival battles aren't your style, jump into Sandbox Mode, where you have full control over the game world—including resources, enemy spawns, and weather conditions—allowing you to tailor the experience to your liking.

Customize Your Gameplay

Tailor The Riftbreaker to match your preferred playstyle. Adjust the frequency of enemy attacks, their strength and numbers, resource abundance, weather events, enemy damage, and many other gameplay settings.

Multiple difficulty presets are also available, catering to both hardcore strategy enthusiasts and players who prefer a more relaxed base-building experience.
